Our Stratford Neighbors
A city since 1886, Stratford began as a railway junction. Since then it has grown immensely and today is most known for the Stratford Shakespeare Festival. Thousands of people come from near and far for the festival. Living in neighboring New Hamburg, we look forward to the festival all year and benefit from economic growth from this event.
The festival has grown and changed over the years. It has places the arts and entertainment at the forefront of the area’s economy. As is expected, when you have thousands of people visiting your city many other businesses benefit. Our own Dolman Eyecare Centre has provided emergency eyecare for visitors, fixed broken eyeglass frames and ordered replacement contact lenses for some of our visitors.
